Meet Dr. Fermo
Dr. Jennifer Fermo received her DDS degree from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine (2000) and was awarded the Suffolk County Dental Society Award for her high level of achievement in all aspects of clinical dentistry and the Oral Pathology Award. Following graduation, she completed a one year General Practice Residency at New York Hospital where she received the Diamond Award for excellence in periodontics.
She has practiced in NYC and Hershey Pennsylvania while her husband completed his Medical residency. They returned to Long Island (where they are originally from) to raise their now 2 grown children. Vincent, a Cybersecurity Specialist in the city and Olivia, a Midshipman at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD
When Dr. Fermo is not at work she volunteers at her Parish Outreach and is an Extraordinary Minister where she ministers to the sick & homebound. Dr. Fermo enjoys doing Orangetheory daily, Traveling and eating good food with her husband Carlos, a Physician at Stony Brook.
She has been in private practice in the community for over 20 years. Her goal with every patient is to provide high-quality, personalized dental care that helps her patients maintain the best oral health & happy smiles =)
